Can we go back to hating rags now everyone?
These four games made me hate Young even more.

Totally useless, plus a diver and a choker.

Ashley young is awful, and they brought Milner off before him.

I couldn't believe that decision. Maybe he stayed on because the bench was shit. And to think, he had the perfect impact sub (i.e. Adam Johnson) available to him and opted to leave him at home. And anyone who prefers Johnson over Micha Richards is an absolute twat. Also, if Hodgson was anything other than total crap, he wouldn't pander to the delusional Wooney hype and persist with a player that was clearly a passenger over the two games he played.

Rooney and Ashley Young were the worst players on the pitch and I don't think I am being bias saying that.

Worst players I'd go Rooney, Young, Johnson, Parker and Wallcot. Seriously Wallcot was on the pitch for what 60 minutes and did the sum total of FUCK ALL.

thought Johnson wasn't too bad and Parker worked hard but today showed we are embarrassingly inept in ball retention and technique department.

Lot of hate here for Hodgson - give him a break; I thought he got a relative silk purse out of a pigs ear. We just don't have the players - Joe and the defence did well as did Wellbeck in my mind. Seriously lacking in midfield Gerrard and Parker pretty anonymous; and while on the topic of Gerrard does anyone else think he is a totally unispirational skipper?

He really didn't. He's wedded to 4-4-2, when the rest of Europe has moved on and he chose to play negative defensive tactics, he chose the players, he chose to play for penalties and he chose to play Ashley Young every minute of every game. Roy Hodgson is NOT the man to lead England, he's part of the problem. England don't produce the players because we don't have good enough coaches to coach them. Stuart Pearce and Roy Hodgson in charge of the England National team and the U21's is embarrassing!

Interested in different opinions so what would you have done differently then mate?

Given the job to Harry Redknapp

Milner actually got into better positions than Walcott, should've been founf twice in the first half..then Hodgson takes off one of his better penalty takers and inevitably Walcott was ineffective and Young crashed his pen against the bar

Have to agree with Walcott mate, actually forgot he was on the pitch, I didn't rate Italy's left back either.

Thought Parker did a bit better but then ran out of fuel and yeah Johnson is very poor in defence.

Easy answer - again I admit we haven't got the players but I think Roy got us as far as anyone could have. Hopefully a few youngsters will come through to replace the golden generation and we'll have happy days ahead.

Tbh it shouldve been both. Milner was awful too.
