I wouldn't mind if we did win but we don't, that's the problem. I would rather us exit a tournament with an attacking style than like this.
Well, you did so in 1990 and 1996 - on penalties, as far as I remember...

Ashley young is awful, and they brought Milner off before him.

I couldn't believe that decision. Maybe he stayed on because the bench was shit. And to think, he had the perfect impact sub (i.e. Adam Johnson) available to him and opted to leave him at home. And anyone who prefers Johnson over Micha Richards is an absolute twat. Also, if Hodgson was anything other than total crap, he wouldn't pander to the delusional Wooney hype and persist with a player that was clearly a passenger over the two games he played.

Tbh it shouldve been both. Milner was awful too.

Milner was poor but he wasn't the one giving the ball away at every opportunity. This was what was so perplexing about the decision to pull Young off.

Welbeck as well. What the actual fuck?

Zwei Weltkriege under die Welt Meisterschaft auch England England

England's midfield should be Wilshere, Barry, and Gerrard when everyone is fit with Carrick and Milner on the fringes. Parker lacks any sort of technical ability, he personifies everything that is wrong with English football and that he is championed by the media only worsens the problem as they think he is actually a credit to our team.

Also I still think Crouch should be our centre forward, he is England's best goalscorer (games/goals ratio) since Shearer and would still offer more than Carroll and Welbeck until England can produce a great centre forward again. But now that he plays for an unfashionable team he probably has no chance.

I was 1 year old in 1990. I actually loved Euro 96, even though I was only 7.

Fair enough, but I said 'remember'. You weren't even born then (WW I+II, '66), but me, I was in Italy and in England...

Just watched groundhog day in a packed English bar in Majorca.

My 5 year old was in floods of tears at the end. Had to sit him down and teach him the basic lesson that City is all that matters and after what happened this season you just look back on that, shrug your shoulders and smile.

He's ok now after a packet of walkers crisps and a game of pool!

Considering Crouch scored the goal of the season IMO against us I think you're spot on there.
