I can't see England winning unless we get an early goal and then defend for 80 minutes, our ball retention is shocking, this has to be one of the worst England teams ever.

It's also one of the worst Italian teams in history.

You must of missed watching Italy in 2010, that was the worst time I've seen..

Re: Mario V Joe

Whatever happens if Mario scores I will be celebrating.

Penalties would be interesting, Joe to save Marios first unconverted penalty?!

In 2010 FIGC made the biggest mistake: they called back Lippi after 2006 victory.
He basically put in the pitch the team of 2006... and they were older and not so "hungry" , so it was a disaster.

Today's team in for SHURE one of the worst in the last 25 years, but we're working to built a new generations of talented players. On the other side, Italy usually in the big matches can always "pull a rabbit out of a hat".
I think that will be a close game, and I can see really a big opportunity for England to go throught and to be the black horse of the tournament.
Off course I'll support Italy :D

Balotelli probably won't start, and I would agree with that. You'll just get cunts like Rooney, Gerrard, and Terry, trying to pick on his 'demons', and be sly and cynical to get him sent off. Anything he does during the game is going to be completely exaggerated and blown out of proportion, while good old Wayne is allowed to stamp on peoples bollocks, yet Ronaldo is made public enemy number one.

It's good for England if that happens. His weakness is there for all to see, so the best thing to do is to exploit it for the good of England progressing.

If there aren't any rags in it I hope they win.

World best keeper, brilliant back four, Gerrard and Parker sitting deep, two tricky wingers, Rooney and a choice of Welbeck and Carroll ahead of them - with options on the bench to change the game

this is one of our best teams in recent times, keep slagging us off whilst we carry on winning
