I'm going for Balotelli to score the winner and it will be Hart, Lescott and Milner fault. Well that's what the papers and the shit pundits will make out anyway.

I've heard that comment in the build up to every England game so far and it's still bollocks.

Re: England V Italy, Quarter Final 2012.

Late in the game, Parker and/or Terry running out of steam take down someone in the penalty area.
You know the outcome of that.

I'm just trying to think how that could happen, i'm struggling though in all honesty.

I hope to god it doesn't happen but its got sods law wrote all over it and the press will blame city. The pundits have tried it a couple of times already, look at Lawson the other day wanting Lescott to be dropped the twat as he thinks Lescott always has a mistake in him.

It has nothing to do with City. And the only comments i've heard from the main broadcasters is how good Hart and Lescott have been, with Milner the one taking some stick. I've also however heard how Young hasn't been that great and that Rooney, in the main, was rusty last night.
Again though, if Milner goes mad, passes to Lescott who goes one better and decides to do some keepy uppies, then volley a goal past Hart, it won't have anything to do with City and so those concerned will be slating the players, not the clubs they play for.

On the flip though, seeing as you do think it is to do with City, do you think that if Hart keeps clean sheets from now on, Lescott becomes player of the tournament and Milner scores the goal that wins the tournament, will that be City's doing too?

Getting far from wound up, and there was nothing to suggest your comment was a joke, especially when you followed it up with what you believe to be true facts about City's players being targeted by the commentators.

The irony of you telling Pidge to calm down.

Re: England V Italy, Quarter Final 2012.

What i'd like to see against italy if we are going to stick to a 4-4-2 (4-4-1-1)

.......................Joe..................
Johnson.....Terry....Lescott......Cole
Walcott.....Milner.....Gerrard......Ox
..................Rooney...................
........................Carroll...............

Drop Parker and Young, they've both been (at best) average to poor. Carroll provides the aerial threat and Rooney doing link up. Milner as holding mid/support - Gerrard in a free role. Johnson would get battered down that right flank though :(

I still think Micah at RB and AJ for LW would be a better side.
