Milner in a defensive 2 would offer great support for baines and lallana up the same wing also.
Henderson didn't help the wing back much and neither did Gerrard.
 
If i was manager and chamberlain is available next game i'd have my front four made up of; sterling, barlkley, chamberlain and sturridge but we all know there's not a cat in hells chance of roy doing that.

I would rather see England play like we have done today than in previous tournaments.

If we go out playing like that then so be it.
 
Rooney will play 99% of the time because of his repuation. Same thing happened with Beckham, he was shite yet played all the time because it was 'wrong' to leave him out.

Much improved though, I'm liking the fast attacking play.
