No one expected us to do well this tournemant and we are unlikely to but I liked bits of what I saw tonight and in a couple of the friendlies.

Liverpool have got a couple of cracking players in Sturridge and Sterling.

He won't drop Rooney and Gerrard but with a bit of luck Gerrard will retire from international football at the end of the World Cup as will Lampard then let's see what they can put together.

I think we are still missing real top quality defensive midfielders and Johnson at RB and Baines at LB are a liability.

We should use this Wc to give players a chance and experiment.

I would bring in Shaw next match and Barkley.

He won't drop shrek so it would probably have to be for Welbeck.

It really wasn't that terrible. Did mostly fairly well and were undone by two goals from a class we're not at.

The issue Roy is that young lads are coached on speed and not on technical ability

They`re on drugs !!!!! ??????

Not that type of speed Oakie lad - just having a rant at the actual problem from grass roots up to our senior level

Most teams look at a young lads speed compared to his actual technical ability which is why we are so shite at a national level

Really pleased for balo esp after the shit he got over here ( most of it completely unjustified) off the media, pundits and opposition fans.

Especially as at the very time he scored i was in an arguement with a red scouser as he had turned round and said what had city ever done for englush football....i just laughed in his face when balo scored!!!!!!
