I thought that was England's game plan. Win a trophy playing like Greece when they won the Euros. Not sure what any England fans were expecting - Southgate isn't exactly a Guardiola disciple. The only way you'll progress is by steering clear of decent teams and playing negative football. It's all your manager knows. However, if (God forbid) England do win it then no one will give a shite about the style of play. You could win every game in the knock outs 1-0 with a dodgy penalty every game - no one will care.
