England vs Nigeria - Sat 2nd June

I just saw a quote from Hoddle saying Lingard and Ali were excellent. Did I miss something watching yesterday??
 
Was actually decent to watch for once in the first half but the 2nd was more the usual shite they produce. Should have scored 3 or 4 first half and Sterling was key to the good play with his movement but also at fault for us not scoring 3 or 4 with some bad decision making and shooting. The golden boy of English football looked well off the pace and I was hoping Vardy would get the last 20 minutes (was he sub?). Welbeck coming on was good for a laugh

Ditto. I thought Hoddle's comments were laughable. At one point he said: "Sterling has missed four or five good chances." That was just a lie.
On two occasions Hoddle criticised Sterling for not lifting his head when no other players were up with play and Kane had not made a run into the box. His co-commentator later said that Sterling's dive was "his first statistic" in the game ignoring his assist for Kane (who nearly fucked up his chance)
