pretty good summary, Not a team mate even in sight when Stones got the ball, compare that to the situation when playing for City. Stones took a clumsy touch, resulting in a Poland goal, a trust in the keeper would have resulted in a quick return ball but no one trusts him so Stones is in two minds, in a dangerous area. That could have been sorted in training, Should have been sorted in training. Like many things that happen when the manager is basically a lightweight, in the job for non-football reasons. Poland played on the edge of out-right thuggery, helped by a ref who put keeping the game flowing above pulling up for constant niggling. Anti-football was the result. Stones has to live with the fact that a couple of poor seasons means the city haters will pile on every opportunity they can, a near perfect season instantly ignored like last nightt illustrated and make out he gives a goal away every game. His crucial part in the winner grudginglly acknowlegded. As far as City are concerned, that was the worst lead-up to the LCFC game we could have endured. Big test for the squad coming up.Pope shouldn't be anywhere near an England team at the moment. He dropped Stones in it, and there were no England players there to support him. England goals: Foden to Raz = Pen for Kane. Foden corner to Stones = goal for slabhead.

Nobody will be able to convince me that the reaction from several parts of the media regarding Stones error doesn't come from an ulterior motive due to him playing for City.
It was one fucking mistake, it happens in nearly every single game by at least one player and by and large is forgotten about.
In Stones case though, the snivelling little cockroach cunts are gleefully rubbing their grubby little hands together in the desperate hope they can knock the confidence from him.
Even his assist, which was fucking outstanding by the way, for the winner is largely ignored.
Fortunately for us, this is a new John Stones, balls of fucking steel and he will come through this OK.
Personally, wish he'd come out and tell the pricks they can shove the England team up their arses and signs a 5 year extention for us.

My thoughts exactly, all negatives are highlighted and all positives are deliberately subdued when it comes to City and our players. Ah but we all know you cant get blood out of a Stone. He's made of sterner stuff.The media will be out for blood now on stones. These types of incidents can knock his confidence. He has been a revelation but slabhead is no Dias.

Matterface comments on the lino fixing his radio device that hes trying to stay incommunicado, go on Sam you win idiot of the night prize with Dixon a close second
Why wasn’t Henderson selected for any of these matches? Nick Pope is shit. He plays for Burnley. Why does Southgate pick an anti-football goalkeeper and then an outfield of mostly flowing footballers? If you wanna hoof it, leave Stones out of your back line.
