Jack and Phil in particular would be well within their rights to tell Waistcoat to fuck off, but they’re too nice and professional and proud to play for their country to do so.

Southgate has treated them with utter contempt over and over again. While it’s good for us that they spend more time on the bench than mixing it up with the likes of Henderson and Maguire, it’s beyond a joke how Southgate keeps getting away with going out his way to publicly humiliate two of the best flair players England have had. Probably because - to reflect on one of his own quotes - they’re not quiet meek boys that he wants to take home to his daughter (Saka).

When asked why he doesn't play Phil in the middle at the WC, he said he doesn't play there for his club. Clearly he made up that excuse or just didn't know that KDB plays that role. Either way he's an incompetent fool.

Pep was not seen as a poor manager every time he failed, it’s football anything can happen. However if his team could never control the game against decent opponents, genuine talent left on the bench for poorer replacements he’d have been bombed out.

Has he not got the best out of Saka then? Or Bellingham ? Or Rice? Or many of our young outstanding talents, in both tournaments England had one of the youngest sides. He gives youth a chance, one thing England fans always cry out for.

Last point is your opinion, I would say at least 5-6 Prem clubs would snap him up straight away.
