BUT APART FROM THOSE THINGS, THEY'VE NEVER GIVEN US ANYTHING!

i think it becomes difficult when you delve in to history and start basing facts on biblical accounts, especially as ideas like the "state" "nation" are relatively modern and certainly weren't in existence when there was a more legitimate Jewish presence in the region.

Fundamentally it is a political issue, not a religious one as (certainly during the British rule) there was very little conflict between Jews and Arabs in fact it was difficult to tell who was a jew and who was a christian/muslim as most of the jews were sephardic! Communities were mixed and religious sites shared peacefully (of course there were only a minority of jews living in Palestine at the time). The problem is more of the Zionist movement, which even courted Nazi support before WW2 (as the Nazis would have likely controlled Palestine had they won the war).

Remember that its not only that Israel did steal land, its that they continue to steal land in the West Bank which contravenes every reputable international legal body out there.

For me One state solution is the only solution, for the peace and democracy of israelis and palestinians. I have lived in Palestine and have seen first hand the brutality under which these people suffer, and the constant paranoia the Israelis live with! and it can only happen when Israelis force their govt to accept democracy and try to live in peace - putting peace above ideology.

There is actually City graffiti on the apartheid wall in Bethlehem? - I will try to find the picture!

A one state solution would never work, simply because neither side would agree on the name.

Palestinarael.

I think I might just have single handedly solved the whole Middle East crisis.

I am always amazed at the pro-arab reporting on the middle east. It seems to me to be completely biased. Every Israeli transgression is reported and condemned to the n'th degree while acts of violence on Israel seem to be largely ignored. Even when the Israeli's are reacting to provocation they are deemed to be the ones at fault.

Apart from this conflict I don't see Jews wandering round the world killing people in the name of their religion. There is only one religion that I can think of that seems to spawn frequent murder in its own name.

Growing up in an area of North Manchester heavily populated with Jews there were few, if any, racial issues that I can remember and the vast majority were largely well integrated and religion was not really an issue.

I don't understand anti-semitism at all.

Christianity?

Several hundred million at the last count.

Kill one man and become a murderer; kill one million and become a conqueror

Call me thick if you want but exactly why does a religion need it's own country? Why can't they just blend in with everyone else like the Muslims have done?

Because they are the "chosen people" and are more special than goyim like you and I.
