As the general level of technique improves, you’ll see more smaller central defenders. You already don’t see many massive target men up front any more- football evolution- and I reckon we’ll see the same at the back over the next ten years. That change will be accelerated once they stop youngsters heading the ball.

Watching the twins I feel Quinten will make a better Pep CB and Jurrien a better DM. Quinten is more technical and smoother, calmer and has better vision. John Stone-ish, I'd say. while Jurrien Is a mixture btw Nkolo Kante and our Brazilian at West Ham. Forceful, intense, explosive and aggressive.

I think you watch the game through blinkers Marvin, Garcia was bobbins and never accomplished nevermind very accomplished. The languid pace of la Liga will suit his style but i very much doubt he'll ever be regarded as a world top 10 CB whilst he's playing. The more he played for us the more average he became. Not good enough to play regularly in the PL for any club thus far in his career.Good luck from me as well. A very accomplished defender for one so young. I thought he got exposed for pace a few times when caught one on one but that doesn't mean he wont be a good defender.
