He would play more games, cost us more points and then walk away for free, I don't understand the logic behind the transfer refusal.
He won't play more games unless ake , dia, laporte, stones are all injured . Calm down mate. It was just not letting club like barca bully us into agreeing to their conditions.

Wouldn't surprise me to still him ahead of Stones in the pecking order, despite this fiasco.
This is Pep we are talking about, who does like to pick his favourites at times.
Well it wouldn't be exactly without merit would it. That being said, I hope Stones turns it around here and will be favoured to him (and won't fuck up).

Barca must not have wanted him that badly. Would concern me if I was Garcia.

from rabin on twitter

this is more the reason they are skint, and why messi should been allowed to leave

Barcelona's net debt increased from €217 Mn (June 2019) to €488 Mn as of June 2020, an increase of €271 Mn. While it's a massive leap, looking at their balance sheet it's understandable. As of June 2019, they had an abysmal current ratio of 0.58

No, not at any cost. A reasonable fee. £10mil is a reasonable fee for a work in progress who doesn’t want to be here and will be walking out the door for nothing

Would you rather bend over for 10 million or for nothing, because either way you are getting fucked!

Should have taken the money, put it down to experience and forgotten about him
Reasonable for you maybe, obviously our board disagree and took a stand

Zinchenko gets it from some of our fans but at least he has only ever wanted to stay and fight for a place, it's the reason why he has medals now coming out of his pockets.

Garcia, having initially told City he wanted a new deal (and offered one) doesn't want to be here.

As far as I'm concerned, a deal should have been reached.

Garcia will also likely pay the price not going to the Euros next summer if he's not anywhere near our team.

We are going forward without him, in that respect, Taylor Harwood-Bellis deserves to play in any weakened Cup team or injury crisis, irrespective of whether it makes us weaker.

if dias and laporte stay fit he gets nowhere near the starting line up

It's great news that we didn't allow ourselves to be bullied by Barca. Yes we will lose money as he will go on a free but it was an important message to send to other clubs moving forward. Hopefully the pecking order for the centre half position is this: Laporte, Dias, Stones, Ake, Ferny, THB, Walker, Cancelo, Foden, Eddison, Garcia
