Eric Garcia to Barcelona

No. But it certainly looks like your beloved Barca are doing everything to lose it in December!
Cadiz!!!!!
You are even more desperate for Garcia now!
Messi must be so sad. He deserves so much more!

Lenglet has shown some inconsistency over the past month which is surprising since he has been otherwise very reliable. Is that down to no longer having his senior partner in Pique or just bad form? Not sure but even before last night's error he had made a few others in recent matches, even when Barca weren't punished for them.

The squad, for the time being, is fine in terms of balance IMHO - especially if Todibo is brought back in January

I would say this is more an issue of tactical naivety from Koeman who never deserved the job, yet another gift from Bartomeu. Election results could impact who could replace Koeman (Likely Xavi) but mid-season changes are never ideal. Of course, the Messi question enters into it as well which will force the new President/board to not just think short term but long as well

He won't be going anywhere in January, there's no logic there
There is also no logic for city to sell Garcia in Jan for a few million. We don’t need the money as we live within our means and have no debt and have not failed FFP.

Barcelona are being petty. They know city offer the best future for messi. The club has been run into the ground. The clues are now up in arms but I did not hear the same crying when you were winning, funny that.

The way messi has been treated is disgusting.

Sure there is, a few million in the bank for a young player they don't actually need. Messi can indeed leave for free but Barca indeed need him

Petty was Bartomeu not letting Leo leave when he had been promised he could but so was City sticking to an unrealistic valuation of Garcia in August that appeared at the very least retaliatory. Both will have consequences for each club going forward

So if the player and 2 clubs can’t agree on a transfer its within their rights to move on
Or is that only when barca are selling? Not when they’re buying

Nice try

Garcia was overvalued, his market value can be traced last summer and it never exceeded 10M - it only went up when Messi failed to be allowed to leave

Meanwhile, what value is there for the Goat even in the last 6 months of his contract? But as I have said before, it's juvenile to compare a 19 year old player who is 5th in the depth chart to the greatest player of all time that is crucial to his club
