There is no money for new players. There is no money to pay the existing players.

They could afford Dest because Jorge Mendes set them up a sweetheart deal for Nelson Semedo, getting Wolves to massively overpay and freeing up some short term cash - and even then they had to give away Suarez (to their title rivals) and Rafinha and Vidal and Rakitic for free in order to make the numbers work. And Bartomeu pushed Trincao's transfer fee back for the next board to deal with but they can't afford him either.

Barcelona are broke. If you beleive they were going to spend 18m on a 19 year old CB they could sign for free 9 months later then you're incredibly gullible.

Hardly 'embarrassingly stupid' when people like Omar Berrada are on record saying we rejected Barca's offer because they didn't meet our valuation. It's obvious that Barca wanted to buy him in the summer, whether you believe that or not.

I'm going to put more stock into what reporters are saying than someone renowned for being on their high horse when someone disagrees with them on bluemoon.

He left to play regularly which he is doing, and he is playing a lot better than Vinicius, Hazard or Rodrygo at Madrid.
