" he believed Ronaldo would score 40 goals a season in this team"

I asked you to verify it with a source or quote, if you cannot fine.
I sent you the source, what are you talking about?! It was Balagué, backed up by Sam Lee. If you don’t trust them, that’s fine. Move on

No, you were quoting a post from almost a week ago.

I JUST sent you a private message with the source. Guillem Balagué. I don’t expect everyone to know him, but, like I said, he has access within Pep’s circle and all-around reliable journalist

Believe me we have Ballague making stuff up on the Radio and Sky regularly.

He talks like Kaveh on Sky as if he knows everything, in reality he doesn't.

I have a house in Spain, for 20 years and I can tell you that there his reputation is not as solid as you may believe.

Have you read his Pep biography and seen the access he had to him?

Hes clinical something our team lacks.

put Haaland in the Liverpool, PSG games we destroy them. The amount of chances created for a striker in those games Haaland would’ve scored 5. Same with some of our wins add Haaland to us against Chelsea we would’ve beat them 3 to 4 nil.

We have the best creative players in the world but lack that clinical player to finish those chances.

Its why rival fans are terrified of the prospect of a out and out striker in this pep team. It’s the final piece to make one of the most frightening teams in football ever
a great post and a very small edit

Yes , he has had in the past a close relationship , especially for the biography.

What concerns me about Ballague and others (Romano comes to mind) is that they get to a stage where they feel like they cannot say " I don't know", but rather develop a narrative where they infer that they have inside knowledge of everything.
We have 2 fellahs on Sky that do this regularly, everytime transfer windows come around.
Maybe I am an old sceptic, but where the press and the media are concerned Pep is not too far away from that stance.

Anyway it is often interesting to read your views, but remember we read the biggest loads of shite from supposed sports journalists on a daily basis here.

There is a world of difference between Balagué and Romano. Romano is 28 years old. I don’t think as little of him as the majority here, but he certainly does like to play up a sense of omnipresence.
What I can tell you about what you said, based on close experience, is that sometimes you have great journalists from print/online media who then get to go to television or radio and have to answer to multiple questions about everything and talk at length, and they simply cannot say “I don’t know” like you said, and they come very close to pretending they know something or speak in a careful way that protects them but gets misinterpreted. But frankly, that’s what they’re being paid for. It’s a bit of the old “don’t meet your idols” mantra: “don’t listen to print journalists speak”, I would say. I haven’t seen Balagué speaking on tv except for snippets on youtube, so it’s very possible he sucks at it. I do think it’s a bit different when a journalist has a story and writes only about what he is informed. The reason I tend to believe his claim about Pep is because it is backed not only by Sam Lee’s similar report but Pep’s own quotes about Ronaldo from the past. And Pep and his circle remain close to people who wrote books about them (not just Balagué, but for instance also Marti Perarnau and Pol Ballús).

Yeah. Fuck knows why a these so called ITKs stick their neck on the line, they probably enjoy the backslapping when they call it right.

I see Billyshears has gone quiet since he said Kane was nailed on. I recall him sneering anyone thinking we'd get Haaland.
He was just abusive and rude though to be fair!
