Yeah, it an interview with a paper in norway when he was 16 at molde. He follows the the 3 teams his dad plays for..
That's exactly my point mate. He is never actually on camera expressing this undying love for Leeds that some on here would have you believe. It's one article when he was a boy, and afaik there are far more instances of him at city games or wearing city kits long after his father left. I don't think he die hard city either btw, but this Leeds to the core bollocks is quite simply that, bollocks.

He followed the teams his dad played for. On recard as saying hes a leeds fan, been seen in City kits, signed a leeds top, been out in leeds gear Dont think any of it will be a factor.

They lived in Alderley so probably City was more accessible than dirty Leeds
probably, dont think its gonna matter. They've managed where he goes quite well regardless of afiliation or more money. Could have gone Leeds, Juve few other places after Molde. Chose RB Salzburg. If they think hes better somewhere else, they'll pick it.

bit more context

Don’t get your hopes up fellas, but don’t resign yourselves to a Madrid outcome either.

Forget the paper talk. Forget the ITK talk. Forget the logic and forget the money. Forget Pep and forget Florentino Perez.

Just remember that he’s a Blue. He might not be from Bury, or Wythenshawe, or Stockport, but he’s a Blue, and we’re the best club going for a young striker right now.

If it doesn’t happen, it was never meant to be. I believe it will. Haaland #15 Part 2.

If it’s a fight out between Real Madrid and ourselves, then recent history suggests we have pretty poor odds. We usually back out as soon as it’s clear that the player is even considering another club. I think Kevin is really the only player where we’ve won such a battle.

He’s the perfect fit for us, and we’re the perfect fit for him, but I’m not optimistic. Dortmund forcing an early decision works well for us though, because it should give us time to move on to other targets if he decides for another club.
