Those gas bagging about his wages need to understand two things:
1.) If he walks into our team he immediately becomes our most productive player, in almost all other organisations higher productivity means higher wages; I'm no economist but that's rudimentary stuff. Research the highest paid players at each of the biggest clubs in Europe, you won't find many that aren't strikers/goalscorers. He'd be bringing a quality to our team that, arguably, could only be replicated by two other players in Europe. In other words, he's in an exclusive pool of talent and will command the highest salary.
2.) Absolutely nobody will know the exact figures we've offered him at this juncture, except for the lad himself and his camp. Dylan from the magic roundabout will be as well-informed as these journalists in regards to salary, so just relax. I'd imagine he'll come on parity to kev, which will be warranted.
