I'd agree, but I think there has been too many reports about an announcement this week for it not to be trueI suspect no marketing material will be released before the PL is finished. An announcement before Dortmund’s final game maybe (maybe even the day of)
Chatting with a chief sports writer this afternoon. He doesn't get how Pep can make him work in his system... ycmiu
What kind of announcement, is the questionI'd agree, but I think there has been too many reports about an announcement this week for it not to be true
That’s odd. What media has he been reading? “Widely reported” my arseAssuming this might have been answered somewhere in the last few thousand pages but The Guardian say "The fee is understood to be significantly less than €75m (£64m) that has been widely reported."
Do we have any idea of how much it is?
Fabrizio Romano has said that the release clause is more like €60m so if you consider that significantly less than €75m it's would line up with that. Think Romano sometimes writes for the Guardian tooThat’s odd. What media has he been reading? “Widely reported” my arse
In all seriousness though, I think he probably meant to say significantly less than the £200m widely reported.
No chance Dortmund would accept less than the release clause.
Similar mate, I was pretty angry. Really thought we would win the CL this year. Honestly thought we would have no problem with Madrid so that one wasn’t reverse psychology. Was even more confident that we would beat the rats in the final so that’s what makes it so disappointing.

I thought his comment that our competitors only play us twice in the league was (although blindingly obvious) very poignant.Fair play to Steve Nicol for giving a balanced opinion.
Nedum was also bang on when he said it's not City's fault if the league is uncompetitive, it's down to the likes of United and Chelsea not being good enough.
He's not saying we're paying less than the release clause, he's saying the release clause isn't the €75m that's being reported. Most sensible journalists are saying the clause is closer to €60m.That’s odd. What media has he been reading? “Widely reported” my arse
