I just can't see us paying upwards of 130 million and 28 million a year in wages! That's insanity in today's economic climate and it's not how we work. We may cover the wages if Ferna and Sergio leave but that's adding 25 mill a year to the amortisation on a five year deal. That would destroy our recruiting strategy and wage structure in one go. Notwithstanding that greedy **** Raiola would be into us for about 30 mill as well.
Does anyone think we'll do this deal?

Wages and bonuses aside, which Would be high but not insane high, I can see us going 120m + on the transfer fee, inclusive of the rumoured sancho waive. Easily. Wages basically aguero wages plus moderate bonus.

So let me get this right Haaland agent who is there to represent Haaland might not do what is best for his client because he doesnt like Pep.
All Haaland agent what's is to get the most amount of money for himself and Haaland. If that means going to say utd and playing for an inexperienced manager. A manager that won't improve his client.
His client is only 20 and will become a very wealthy man , should the next move be what's is best for his career and not his bank balance.
The move to City will make him a very rich man anyway.

If Haaland wants to come to City than his agent should be doing everything he can so that it happens, not trying to make it not happen.
Haaland coming to work with worlds best coach , is a no brainer if that's what Haaland wants. If Haaland doesnt want to come so be it.
But if Haaland is making his next moved based on money and not what's best for his career its abit sad.

If Haaland wants to come to us, then he'll come to City, end of story. Raiola won't be able to change it. We'll agree terms with him, a fee with Dortmund, and Mino will get his cut of that, and he'll pipe up every few years with crap statements. End of story (rinse and repeat)

No one on here seems to have pointed out that we'll probably sign him for some astronomical amount and being City and knowing our luck he'll probably play two games before getting some season long injury - so do we know if City have some sort of plan B of looking for another striker or are we to be be left with just Jesus?

You think we should sign Halaand AND another top striker just in case he gets injured?

Article is about Aguero, but it does mention in it that Haaland is "leaning towards a move to Madrid"

Yeah, if he comes he'll be treated like royalty, if he doesn't then he can just make do with second or third best.

Jesus, Raz, Kev, Bernie, Gundo, Phil, Liam Delap, we’re covered.
Just my opinion and preference but I prefer the false 9 system anyway.
