Can you pick the pundits if we do buy him.
Charlie Nicholas when asked what the worst deal of the summer was when we bought Aguero. He said it was a panic buy and he would not do it here.
Merson on KDB i dont see a player for that money.
Can see it now The German league is championship standard. Will he do it at Burnley on a cold windy night. He would be the greatest signing in history for the rags or dippers.Imagine the melt down if Kane rocked up at City that would confuse them how would they slag of thier media darling.

bottom line is ''i think'' Haaland is going to cost us probably in the region of twice the purchase cost and wages of two decent players, we have cut our cloth or saved cash over the last few years not replacing Vincent and Silva along with this no more Aguero wages, Foden now must have a very decent value, is it doable it certainly is,its rare players of his age and quality come along like this, im not in the know but i do think this deal is further along than we can all imagine

I dont think any deal gets done outside of a transfer window. Plenty of chat from the agent to anyone who will listen does not count for anything. Its the chat between clubs that constitutes 90% of any deal. That will not have started yet and I would expect them to make it difficult as it always looks better to their own fans if they are seen to put up a fight.

£600k a week that is up with Alexis Sanchez levels of pay, how good is this lad ;-)
If we are to get him, they have to figure out a way to make it look like it's terrible business and "ruining football". They can't have the lad actually *wanting* to come to lickle old Citeh instead of the Great Manchester United TM, can they.

Going be an auction with that cnut of a agent!

We all want Haaland, because he is great, because his dad was crocked by a vile piece of shit in red. Equally, if we find an alternative that the club is happy with I will not moan. Just remember Dias, 3rd or 4th choice. He will have a statue one day.

Would like to point something out to you all.. Erling means "Heir of clanchief" in Scandinavian languages.
Well after the Sergio news, how appropriate. Get him in, it is destiny.

Edit.

And the sky is very blue here in Kent.

No one on here seems to have pointed out that we'll probably sign him for some astronomical amount and being City and knowing our luck he'll probably play two games before getting some season long injury - so do we know if City have some sort of plan B of looking for another striker or are we to be be left with just Jesus?
Weirdest logic ever.

Haaland is quality no doubt, but not worth upsetting the whole salary set up and team balance for 1 player.
