Last season was a freak season imo. Dangerous to try and win the title again without a 20/30 goal man. Doesn’t normally happen.

It's impossible to win the league every year, so no hard feelings if we wait another year, but yeah last year was a freak. No crowds + Liverpool injuries + Frank Lampard at Chelsea + Pep working miracles. V. unlikely it will be happening again this year without a striker.

It also seems likely that next summer Pep will be entering the final year of his contract with no new deal having been signed. Pep is our main pull really. The guy is the best around. If his future is unclear, as I’m sure it will be at the time of trying to sign Haaland, that will be a factor for him.
