Predicting the future 12 months from now. They'll be a bit of twitter chatter from a garbage journalist about talks with City, people will post 1000 pages of flight tracker links then post stuff like "fuck me this is really happening isn't it", then we'll post gifs mocking our rivals and then he'll go somewhere else and we'll all start shouting at each other.

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.
 
Zero chance of us affording or negotiating for haaland. If the last two targets are how we approach getting deals done I'd suggest the team dealing with transfers save themselves the time and embarrassment.

Unless the reason our approach for those two targets was so half hearted and half arsed is because we've got a much bigger target lined up?

I'll just go and find some straws to grasp.

Can you imagine if Kane, Messi and the Portuguese OAP have all been chess moves in the game that gets Haaland to City ? Oh look a field full of straw better get grabbing !

But we knew that in May. We knew they wouldn't budge. To get to the end of the window pursuing only that to the just click it wouldn't happen is the disappointing bit.
 
Our Yangel Herera to Dortmund to lay foundations for a deal for Haaland. Dortmund interested in Herrera to replace Delaney who has left this week for Sevilla.
 
you'll have to deal with raiola not dortmund, they're just a stepping stone for his clients. mfers just bought another client of his from psv, mallen
 
When you think about our situation...perhaps we may decide to bite the bullet on haaland. Assuming the stumbling block was financial demands...Maybe psg and the rags paying obscene wages for old rope will make us re-evaluate?

Lets face it all the big striker players have moved this summer aside from haaland, mbappe, and lewandowski. Mbappe is as good as done to madrid, lewandowski wont leave bayern this summer...that leaves haaland who, in spite of any shit dortmund talk of not selling this summer, will go for a magical figure. I'd hope we have looked forward 12 months and realised that, unless some unknown talent comes through like mbappe in 2017, haaland is the only elite striker thats available now...and if we leave it without trying now bayern will have a run at him next summer.

Time to break our rules this one time? Nobody in our squad could argue haaland isn't elite and should be on elite wages either.
