ffs, is it too late to go for him? Txiki, get on your knees front of Raiola and beg for him if it needs to be done. whatever it takes I would pay him.
its not our money anyway than why not go real big. this guy guarantees the return of goals/assists and if he wants to move on 3 years time we will cash in some huge fee on him.

Doubt Chelsea will be doing much counter attacking this season as teams will show them respect and sit back. No doubting Haaland will rip it up wherever he goes next though

Can’t afford him this summer and won’t risk joining the big auction that will either drag on next summer, or alternatively be stiched up before it even starts. We are doing what’s best for us, now .Nothing else matters.

We want to dominate Europe. That’s the game plan. Letting the next superstar go elsewhere is a mistake. It will be worse if he goes to United next season, sure, but even if he goes to Bayern or Madrid it’s still bad. We need to think big.

I had a laugh in the “Quiet” thread yesterday when someone called Kane a superstar

It’s very understandable that you prefer Haaland, but that’s just nonsense. I despise Kane, but he’s undoubtedly a world class striker. On the short term Kane is easily the best option

I disagree but even what you’re replying to is not what I said. “A world class striker” is not the same as “a superstar”

On the pitch it makes no difference. On the pitch Kane will score the goals we need. Whether Haaland would score more than Kane is up for debate, but there wouldn’t be a big difference , and it won’t be the difference between winning a c/ l or not winning one, either of them in the team last year and we’d have beaten Chelsea.
Couldn’t care less whether he’s a ‘superstar ‘ or not just do the job as part of the team, Kane will.
Haaland isn’t coming everyone needs to move on and forget him , get on with supporting an enjoying the team we have.

simon Jordan made a great point, he reckons this is teams showing mino they won’t deal with his shite. No other reason for it than if a few teams agreed to show him who’s boss.

The regular definition. Someone who delivers beyond performances too.

Anyway, I understand he isn’t coming this season and the performance did turn out to be prohibitive after all. But that doesn’t mean I can still say what I think especially for next year, especially after the reports from days ago that we offered Messi last summer more than PSG will pay him. We could secure him next summer if we wanted.

But let’s move on and appreciate Haaland for the great player he is, so much fun to watch

We’ve beaten teams with him in before, we’ve beaten team with better players than him in before. You can’t worry about players other teams might get, just be a better team than them, with better tactics.
