Yes, agree, can see them still being the pinnacle for natives but I would think someone with no affiliation would steer clear.
The premier league is head and shoulders the best league and with the most money at this time.

Except majority of young player seems have this big admiration for Real Madrid and Barcelona, their pull is still massive even if one of them is being shit right now (Barca), they don't mind the league being shit it's just in their head that being part of those club is becoming a dream come true for these players.

Most relevant players want to be in the Premier League right now

I read a stat today, that City have put in the most crosses from open play in the PL, this season (206). Just imagine Haaland in this team, with his movement, finishing and that amount of balls into the box.
For someone his size, he's really poor in the air for whatever reason.

If transfermarkt is correct, he's scored only FOUR goals from using his head.

These goals are all recent. It’s the clearest aspect of his game that has been improving lately

I get the previous draw for players to Barca and RM, but that was when you had a huge chance of a Champions League win. But now neither of those sides are even guaranteed to get to the semis, let alone winning the competition. The major draw for the chance of silverware, even in Europe, now lies with the Premier League teams, especially with the Spanish sides not having a pot to piss in, they probably can't compete on wages either.

The lure for both spanish giants is still huge, it doesn't matter the league is shit or the money that can provide is not enough compared to Premier League.

Most young player is very impressionable and if they given chance to play the so called the biggest and most prestigious Club in the world. They will take it without second thought.

Big test coming up for City; maybe the biggest test yet of their ambition.

Not that I doubt the club is very ambitious. The club has built a side that I consider is on the verge of making an undeniable claim to be one of the great footballing sides. Buying and successfully integrating Haaland could put City into the same territory as another team Pep managed. That would be extraordinary and Haaland might be the final piece of that jigsaw; that is not a certainty and it would be an expensive gamble (more in terms of the finances than risk of any footballing failure).

We have been here before with potential mega-signings and never once pulled it off. We have never yet properly capitalised on getting into a position of all conquering strength but credit the club in that is keeps giving itself a shot at that. We just need to take that final step.
