Erling Haaland

I think this will play out way longer than it should and we might will be taken for a ride by Raiola where we end up waiting another 6 months for him to sign elsewhere.

Btw i am not too worried about his salary/agent fee as we have up to 80-90m in transfer fee because in current market Dortmund could easily ask 150m for him and all they gonna get is 65m which is less than their Sancho sell price.

Spurs might have asked that amount for Kane who has most of his best seasons already behind him. Haaland has them just coming up...

Because that’s when Haaland himself is announcing/making his decision. And also last March there was news that City were meeting his representatives and other clubs thought that he’s destined for City plus rumours of him already agreeing a deal with City. March is a big month for sure!

Uby are 93.20blue and cityleaks your accounts too?

I believe the argument is that Real may not actually be at the table. If they want to bring in Mbappe as well as strengthen elsewhere perhaps they will let this go and probably just try tap him up in 4/5 years.

So if Haalands options are City, PSG and the rags then maybe its a bit clearer.
None of us know. I just always feel, and not just haaland,, but in general, that real /barca have that certain pull
Guillem Balagué, on BBC's Euroleague show last week, suggested that Barca had more chance than RM? He said Raiola had a poor relationship with Perez but a very good one with Laporte. He said Haaland thought his lines of running might be restricted by Mbappe and Barca were putting huge additional loans in place. Raiola has been promised several of his young players could be signed by Barca. Balagué said Haaland was keener to join a Spanish club and Barca was a very attractive destination.
barca with no dosh. Joke innit

BS this wont get done until May at the earliest. More like June / July.

Benzema is 34. I don't know what their young players are like but I can see them going for Mbappe and Haaland. Mbappe should be on a free at the end of the season. His contract runs out this Summer.

Unlikely. Dortmund are a well-run club, they’ve enough cash (thanks Jason Sancho) to not have to worry about short term matchday revenue losses.

The only way he moves in January would be sudden and intense pressure from the Haaland camp because there’s not much left for BVB to play for in 2022.

Raiola doesn’t seem to be heading that way and Watzke has said he’s staying in winter, so summer move it is, wherever that may be.
I didn't suggest he moves in January. I suggested that closed grounds are triggering significant losses for some of our rivals.

So because there was speculation last March, when we were playing them in the CL, which turned into absolutely nothing, this March will be a big month? Got it.

He won't be announcing a decision in March, himself or via a representative. You have completely misinterpreted one Dortmund claim, and for some reason can't seem to see past it.

I think it makes a lot of sense for Madrid to sign both, that being said they have some talent on the front lines with Vinicius and Rodrygo etc. There is also definitely the possiblity of neither Mbappe and Haaland fancying sharing the spotlight.

It may “make sense” but they know they don’t need it and it isn’t a priority. In older days they might have done it for the clout and media attention and to stop Barcelona. I have watched most of Madrid’s games this season including the one on the weekend, this is a very good team. It’s already dominating La Liga. It very easily could beat PSG in the UCL. To be honest, even adding Mbappe will have its risks, but at least they have his chemistry with Benzema to feed from. Adding Haaland there would just throw away what Ancelotti is starting to build. I know it makes some people here angry when I do it, but I maintain: Haaland will not play at Madrid next season. This is based on hearing a lot and talking a lot and reading a lot. They want Mbappe + Benzema + Vinicius in the World Cup season. If I hear something to change my mind, I’ll post here. I don’t think it’s impossible that he stays at Dortmund another season and goes to Madrid in the following.
I have to be honest and say that I am not sure what to make of Barcelona. Their media mouthpieces seem to be running with it and I don’t know how realistic it is. I’ve lived enough to know they can pull off some very “curious” financial schemes. Can they make this happen? Or is this just to make themselves look strong in the media for a comeback narrative, which they will benefit from even if they don’t pull it off? And the other question is the appeal. I’m convinced they will play UCL next season. But is that enough? Can they sell illusions to the player, that soon they will be strong and he will be at the front? I think it’s a very unrealistic and unlikely possibility that he goes there, but that I’m even thinking about it shows how good the Catalan media is.
That’s why I can’t help but be very optimistic. Also because staying at Dortmund yet again will be such a waste. It’d be such a waste. And Raiola smells this better than anyone. I could see him advising player and father to another year in Germany, but it’s so unlike him, that only with a, err, very good agreement for 23/24 it would happen.
Who else?

Real will pick Benzema till he cant run he is 1st on team sheet, Junior has been class this year so signing both Mbappa & Haaland ain't happening imo

I think real will try to sign in a year or two. Let benzema run himself into ground then replace. Would also make sense of the whole summer transfer / extension of contract

or maybe waiting to see if they can get super league back up and running
