FWIW Barca have completely backed out of the race. one of their most reliable sources said it's "impossible" for the club to sign superstars due to their financial situation.
 
Koulibaly was our 1st CB target , Kounde was the 2nd & Ruben Dias was the 3rd.

Sometimes missing your 1st target is not a disastor.

It's not like the Grealish thing where we all had to sit around in the transfer window watching him come back to England and train at Villa for a day, we're in fucking March. People are only setting themselves up for an interminable wait, and possibly a gut-punch of disappointment, by spending so much time poring over everything now.
