Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

We stay to the end every game but it takes us at least an hour to get out of the car park and onto Ashton Road before we can even get going on the drive home - it’s ridiculous.

Whilst it is a shame so many leave early to no doubt avoid getting caught in the inevitable queues to get out of a car park/join a main arterial road, I can see why they do it.

I don’t know your circumstances, you may struggle to walk for instance. But if not why on earth would you park in the club car park or near the ground? I usually park near ashburys train station for free and usually get a space. Takes about 15 minutes slow walking.

never really have an issue getting home. Parking right near the ground looks like a nightmare

Ever any problems parking at Ashburys? Do you always get a space?

pretty much. Only been a few times when not. Obviously depends what time you get there. I get there about 2 hours before the game sometimes earlier. Sometimes I drive a bit further down the road to get a space.

if not I park in longsight near Asda and walk up which is a bit of a walk

Only if you arrive late. But there is usually a space down one of the streets or on one of the main roads nearby. I always park there. Loads of parking spaces, free, and you can get away quickly after the match. Normally back in Burnage after I leave in about 15 minutes or faster sometimes. The only downside is a 10-15 brisk walk, or jog, if you can do that to and from the stadium. Otherwise it's a 20-25 minute slow walk.

Cheers. We come over from Rotherham. Prefer to train it but not possible for night games.Getting out of the blue car park is the worst part of the journey even taking the roadworks on Mottram Moor into account

I should add. We still stay to the end whatever. A bit embarrassing singing we fight to the end in a ground that has half emptied 5 mins before the end

That looks like a good option. At least I would feel l I'd earned my pre-match hot dog and pint and I'd be warmed up should I ever get the call from Pep
