With regard to WWYWYWS chants...surely the riposte should be ' where were you when we were shit'...
i'm actually in the process of getting a flag quoted for something like this.

A simple tune will suffice, how about to the tune of the Beautiful South's Rotterdam (Or Anywhere) ...With regard to WWYWYWS chants...surely the riposte should be ' where were you when we were shit'...
I’d prefer to just have the same fanbase as ever with fluctuating attendances depending on the game/competition/how recent the last game paid for was… than have a load of tourists filling the seats instead. I know the club would look at my view like I’m a mad man, but that’s the way I think hahaMaine Road was half empty many times....what's the obsession with attendances?
We have good support and have done for years.
Wycombe chanting wwywyws was proper funny. 5k average home attendance.
Good chant that!A simple tune will suffice, how about to the tune of the Beautiful South's Rotterdam (Or Anywhere) ...
We got 30 thou for Macclesfield
30 thou for Stoke
40 thou for Wem-ber-ley
But a million went to York

Nice one, we desperately need some new songs.A simple tune will suffice, how about to the tune of the Beautiful South's Rotterdam (Or Anywhere) ...

Genuinely curious, as I might have a small chance of relaying this to someone at the club...what does everyone think all the problems are currently re the matchday experience, the issues around attendance/atmosphere etc are and what would you do about them? All suggestions welcome.
The jumped up little **** should mind his own businessI went to the Wycombe game, 15 minutes to go and people started leaving. There was a kid sat opposite me and every person who left he said "sit down". I just give them the stare, probably too scared to start anything, but well done that kid. So much more a worthy supporter.
Rubbish. The early leavers are early leavers.Been saying it for years but if the transport around the ground wasn’t such a shambles I think the early leaver situation would improve. Isn’t going to happen though, sadly
No, the plan is to bring the beersSo we will now fans going to the bar during the match and disturbing the rows around them in and out its bad enough with those who go to get the beers in just before HT and coming back late after ko
Hi mate, how did you feel the meeting went? Cheers for passing on the feedback, it's much appreciated. Thanks everyone for the thoughts/suggestions. Somehow, weirdly, im gonna meet someone at the club tomorrow so ill do my best to relay as much of this as possible.
The metrolink can be a bit hit or miss, but I've said this elsewhere but the idea that City's ground is some atrociously served part of town is a bit of myth. If you leave at the final whistle you'll have to wait 20 - 30 minutes for a tram but there's 50k people trying to get back into town. When people talk about how bad the transport is I think they mean they don't want to queue for anything but I've not been to a ground in England or Europe where that's the case.Rubbish. The early leavers are early leavers.
Old Trafford in the 1960s and 1970s had some of the best public transport of any stadium but still had people leaving at 65 minutes to ‘beat the traffic’.
Did people complain about the transport away from Maine Road? I don’t recall any co-ordinated transport strategy back then. I would either go into the City Social Club or walk back to Oxford Road Station after a match.
Last Tuesday I gave Metrolink a swerve and walked back to my hotel. I saw vast numbers of buses lined up waiting for people to join them.
Even worse, how do the beers get to the middle of a row?No, the plan is to bring the beers
our away support is class
The only one I know of is forza juve aleIt’s not often I can’t find something on the internet. And the way I’m going to write it, won’t help me either. Does anyone know the name of the Juve chant, that goes....Juve.... Juve...Juve.... Without the song it’s impossible to explain what the chant sounds like. The Juve fans sing in it at every match. I’ve tried Juve chants/lyrics, but I can’t find it. I’m sure there must be some City/Juve fans who post on the forum?
The chant would be perfect for Ruben Dias.
“Ruben, Ruben, Ruben Dias, Ruben Dias, Ruben, Ruben, Ruben!”
I’ll keep on searching the interweb. I might get lucky?
