I just think in general people not in the south stand also need to make some noise to improve the atmosphere. Just sing along to whatever you can hear and jobs a goodun reallyNot me or the people near me. Love being near the pitch

Could be another area where our success is our downfall. The flags always worked back in the day when we didn't get many tourists visiting. Was wondering that.
I have a few flags I keep meaning to hang over the top of the Colin Bell but didnt realise need to ask for permission first

At the home game vs Liverpool last year, I caught a pair of Portuguese half and half's trying to hang up a bright red FC Braga flag over the edge of CB2.
Told them "absolutely fucking not", and they got the message when the stewards came over. But you just know we'd be having to put up with bullshit like that wouldn't we
The key point here is that we normally have the SS3 and don't make as much noise as Chelsea did, though, so it can't just be acoustics.Yesterday was a perfect example of how people who say acoustics don't matter, have no idea what they're talking about.
I absolutely believe we have a lounder fan base than Chelsea, given we always outsing them at Wembley.
Yesterday however, the sound Chelsea made in SS3 completely engulfed the stadium, and the sound we made in SS1 could barely be heard.
I'm sure if you were in SS1 the atmosphere sounded amazing, as they were singing constantly, however the Chelsea lot were far louder and that's purely because of acoustics.
Just carry on as normal mate, there was unfamiliars sat down around us last night we just carry on as normal. We're here every game, they're not. If they don't like it we tell them where to stick it.I don't get annoyed by "tourists" normally. But last night there was someone in my seat who initially tried to claim I was wrong, was asked to sit down by a woman behind me despite being in safe standing and standing every game, was filmed when trying to join in a song, and a woman in front of me kept looking at me every time I made a noise and moved further away in the second half because she didn't like the noise. Was pretty weird all round. I really like and welcome new fans, but it's an odd experience when you are the content as much as the football game.
It's all good, plenty of them got involved on the easier "come on City" chants, and anyone is welcome. I'd prefer weird looks than an empty seat. I know what you mean mate, its just I'm not for being told what to do when I've been coming for 23 years and most of the tourist would never have acknowledged us pre 2008. We used rip the rags to bits over the prawn sandwich brigade. That's just my take on itIt's all good, plenty of them got involved on the easier "come on City" chants, and anyone is welcome.
