Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

Whole stadium needs to be on it for arsenal not just SSL1 SSL3 and kippax corner this is by far our biggest game of the season and ultimately will probably be the title decider so we need to play our part get In there early and non stop atmosphere no matter what's happening on the pitch
The atmosphere that night has to be hostile and intimidating and I am sure it will be, huge game.

Thought the atmosphere was decent yesterday and I’m usually a big critic. Great to hear some songs being sung by the whole stadium, though noticed it’s usually Invisible Man and not Blue Moon. Considering the game was over and the 2nd half was flat on the pitch, I thought it was good.

All I going to say is this. Not getting into a spat.

I sometimes wonder if people were at the game. And if they were, what they really heard. And if they need thier hearing tested.

The above aside.

Bar the quiet periods after the 3 goals when City began playing the 1st half out, and after Leicester took control of the match after Pep made the substitutions, I thought the atmosphere was very good, especially during the 2nd half period of support.

A big shout out to blocks 111,110 and 109. Thought you were great yesterday. Just like the good old days in there. Great to hear and see. I could hear you from SSL1, and the loudness of your chants were picked up by SSL1 and carried on. It just shows the chants and noise does travel when enough people join in the singing. Top banter with the Leicester fans as well.

Even though the Poznan was a little disjointed at first, it looked great when it reached the North stand and everyone joined in from there onwards.

SSL1 were loud when they got going.

Credit to the Leicester fans with the banter and doing the Poznan after they scored.

In a nutshell, I really enjoyed yesterdays atmosphere.

PS. The youth were at it again in the corner of the new bar area at the back of SSL1. Staying there after the 2nd half started and singing ”follow you everywhere”. Great to hear and see. Picture to follow.

Yeah the good thing about the second half atmos yesterday was that folk started making their own fun as it quietened down on the pitch, and tbf, after Kelechi scored the tension returned. Decent atmos for a ‘routine’ game that was effectively won before half time except for the late stage signs of life from Leicester.

I would argue that youths staying in the Bar after the 2nd half started and singing follow you everywhere isn't a good thing.

They should be in the stands cheering the team on.

Other than that, I think you're pretty much spot on

Yesterday was a weird one - really good for the first half hour and for part of the second half. It died either side of it, certainly in SSL3.

Leicester fans can get to fuck though, shushing and singing that awful championship level library chant within a minute of the singing stopping. Wouldn’t mind there was mostly about a hundred of them singing in the top tier.

Historically away fans always outsing the home fans , however in recently I have noticed away fans just aren't contributing either, particularly Everton and Leicester both away ends were near silent. Not sure how they have the audacity to sing the library song when both sets are up their with the worse and most quiet set of away fans I have seen
