Indeed. New North Stand - get the singers on the back rows under the roof!

The semi final was dreadful. I was in the top tier and couldn't believe how quiet our end was. Could see the lower tier trying but just couldn't hear them. Very little offered by the top tier, other than my arseholed attempts at getting something going. It was all a bit odd given how noisy the concourse had been beforehand.
 
Only in the USA, this is college football they all have their entrance songs in Wisconsin they use House Of Pain - Jump Around but before the song blast out they try to get to sections of the stadium to complete against each other by having a computer race on the screen and what ever sections wins they start the Jump Around
 
Not only in the USA though is it? We did it better at Wembley without a shite song in the background

If this is what people think is atmosphere and want it at football, words literally fail me.

This, this and this. I always end up feeling like the people on here complaining about lack of atmosphere are the same people who never join in when someone tries to get a song going. As you say, the answer is simple.

I think it’s the total opposite of that.

I’d say that everyone who contributes to this thread is passionate about the atmosphere and are the ones who do contribute to it at the ground.

Why would people who never join in with the atmosphere come on here and discuss the atmosphere? That’s like saying people who don’t drink alcohol are the ones who complain about what beers are on offer at the bars or people who drive to the game moaning about the Metrolink.

The bad thing is with this thread is that we’re all talking to each other when we’re not the problem. It’s getting that reach out to the ones who are. That’s why I often mention getting proper YouTube channels set up with videos of the vocal stands singing each game so that the songs reach a wider audience.

Thats simply not true. Bottom line is that if the number of people who complain about the lack of atmosphere (on here and elsewhere) all joined in to create a good atmosphere, there would be one. Unfortunately its always someone else's fault.

Well said, I have saw fans who want to embrace change and make the atmosphere better at the ground and saw fans on here who don't want to embrace change, as the saying goes "You can take a horse to water but can't make it drink it"

What I would suggest is instead of arguing on here set up a supporters group and thread on here that follows your beliefs and make it happen, start talking to the likeminded people and people at the club to help embrace the change and get your North Stand and the that you deserve and an atmosphere as well. It's easy to set up socials but more challenging to get a movement going

I cant speak for everyone on here,but i try, and I' m coming up to 60 in a few years.
Is it the same for people conplaining about early leavers? they leave early too ? not me.

Even better 2nd half, there was a 20 min spell where you could just hear our fans echoing around the ground, the singing came across so clear as well.

Fletch and the bird commentating commented 3/4 times how loud our away fans were.

On behalf of us armchair wankers today, thank you to those who went.

Really did us proud.

Excellent!

A lot more variety in chants were aired today. Only heard ‘Empty Seats At Home’ once and didn’t hear ‘Gerrard Slipped Suarez Cried’ at all.

Still kept repeating a few songs three or four times which often don’t get sung with the same gusto as the first and second airing, rather than singing many others from the back catalogue. But we were excellent as we often are away from home today.
 
Sounded loud pretty much the full game and looked quite rowdy when Pep went over to the fans at the end. Don't think I heard the Leicester fans at all.

I missed a bit of the second half (but listened on radio while driving to a match) and on both Tv and Radio the singing was loud and consistent throughout. Really great support today, well done everyone who contributed.
