Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

No idea why blue moon forumers get worked up about the atmosphere, i fucking hate the organised, contrived , moronic shouting, loud halers at places like Dortmund it would do my fucking head in. Anyone my age who was on the Kippax for games like Everton quarter final replay, Charlton promotion, and many others, know what a real atmosphere is like. the days of thousands of pissed up working class on a terraces are gone.

Poznan is always fun to do and that's what going to the match is about having fun and supporting the team feel since we have become a great team we take our self to seriously and became entitled in some parts.
The poznan just gets boring if we do it every single game, reserve it for big games.

We definitely need a more variety of chants though, the only chants that really catch on in the ground are blue moon and best team in the land and all the world.

It is what it is. We’ve got a loyal fan base but we lack the passion to make a good atmosphere, consistently. No changes to the design of the stadium solves that. Fans have to find their voices.

People do what they want. The good news is that the atmosphere has improved over the last 18 months at Prem games.

Miss those days so much. Might not have been winning trophies but I much preferred back then compared to the crowd at the Etihad. But I'm just getting an old fucker..

Love the light show. It makes before the game more fun. Let's face it, no city fans are singing until the players come out anyway.

A massive shout out to the Kobenhavn fans, who actually have a better grasp of the English language than the bin dippers.

Last night proved that if you use a drum properly and sparingly, it can improve the atmosphere and be an asset.

I watched Frankfurt v Spurs. The Capo on the (stadium) 'tannoy' was a nightmare. He started every chant.

In England there are good crowds and poor crowds. In Europe there are good Ultras and bad Ultras. Not all Ultras are repetitive and constantly bang a drum.
