Etihad atmosphere

You both appear to be pro-drum from what I can tell. So there you go, some common ground you can agree on!

If you are 10 then you should be sat in the Family stand with mummy and daddy with an overpriced hotdog to shut you up.

No gimp here mate I attend home away week in week out and have done for 25 years. The Thread was about the atmosphere but here we have an example of blue on blue which we see week in week out. I actually think the atmosphere would be better without idiots in our ranks

Hold on a sec, you're the same twat that slagged that bloke off who got badly hurt at Leicester aren't you? The one where you accused him of taking drugs or some other such nonsense, and said he was offering out the Leicester fans.

There's a pretty strong whiff emanating from your posts....

I am putting my feet up and getting a bag of crisps for this... Work is slow today. Keep it up guys

No, you weren't slagging off the tourists at Liverpool - you were slagging off the fans that dared criticise the policy of allowing them to get tickets ahead of long-standing fans with thousands of loyalty points. Obviously you think there's fuck all wrong with our hardcore support being denied the chance of getting a ticket for high profile away games.

As for your last line, give your head a fucking wobble you weapon.
Had to laugh at that. He couldn't be more wrong about you!

I sit in 106 and feel like I'm one of the only people to react to anything/join in chants.

By reacting to anything, I mean even refereeing decisions or great passes, etc. The rest of the 'fans' around me only move if we score, and spend the rest of the time trying to be Gary Neville and giving their analysis of the game to anyone who'll listen.

It fucking bores me to death and I feel almost embarrassed to shout or support anymore. If you do you can expect stares for having the audacity to show any passion.

When did it become 'uncool' to sing and support your team? The club need to give their marketing team a kick up the arse and come up with ways to engage the fans. A video of our players just talking about how an incredible atmosphere makes them feel and drives them to give an extra 10% would be a start. They should be brutally honest and even criticise our fans IMO as sometimes it needs a few home truths.

Bringing back the poznan would be an option too, or drop some fucking money down from the sky that'll make people move ;-)

Yes I did slag off the kid at Leicester because I saw and heard what happened and told it how it was.

go on tell me I am a united fan now..............rather than a drum I think you need a wall to bang your head against.

So how do you work out he's been on drugs? I've yet to see a single fan substantiate that story of yours and you come across as someone who wildly exaggerates at best or tells blatant lies at worse. Incidentally, when someone who knows that fan came on to assure everyone he was ok and told people to stop casting aspersions you were nowhere to be fucking seen - if he was talking bollocks then you'd have been all over him like a rash. Funny that.

To be honest, I'd sooner engage in a conversation with your average red rather than a numpty like you.

Sat in the SS 3rd tier yesterday for the 1st time. I was on Row HH. Usually sit on the front row in Block 210 above the singing section. The noise from our singing sections does not carry up there. You could see the corner singing but you could not hear a word.

From my experience this season sat in my usual seat, it's only when that 3rd tier gets singing that the atmosphere really carries around the ground probably due to the roof angle.

Was in ssl yesterday and if KDB wanted to lift the mood he should try to win the odd 50/50 that will get the fans on their feet much better than just waving his arms at them.
The crowd is exactly what the club and lots of the fans wanted and getting rid of the drunken blokes who swore alot maybe wasn"t such a good idea after all?

I'm with you on this. Usually when he takes a corner he gets a rendition of the KDB song, but for some reason it just didn't happen so he gave it the arm waving bit, probably because his ego wasn't being massaged as per normal.

Personally, I'm getting a bit pissed off with Pep's comments on our support, and I thought he was a bit out of order giving the "cupped hand" gee-up to the Colin Bell. We go to games now fully expecting to get stuffed by the referee and it affects our day far more than it should, which affects the mood and affects the atmosphere. The first half was incipid and it works both ways. Supporters/Players feed off each other and its not the sole responsibility of the fans to lift a team, its within the highly paid coach's remit me thinks. Bollock the players for under-performing in the first half, but don't then come out of the dressing room and bollock the supporters who've paid their hard-earned money to attend the match and be served up some pretty lame football. Sorry, just my opinion.

116 was full of strangers yesterday and a lot more very young (disinterested) kids than normal. There's a few of us either side of Aisle 117 that do try to get a few songs going but rarely does anyone else join in, the apathy is depressing. For as much good work that 1894 do (and long may it continue), I also find it slightly bizarre that there's more singing on the concourse at HT than on the terraces, can anyone explain that to me?
