Etihad atmosphere

Im presuming its a new one, only really heard last 2 games. Goes something like -

'Edin Dzeko, Edin Dzeko we're all singing Edin Dzeko.
Gerrard Slips, Suarez cried, the scousers dreams have fuck'n died.
City win five in a row and were all singing Edin Dzeko.

Repeat.

Its really catchy and been singing it in my head for 2 bloody days now. However, its not really going to get people going when the atmosphere is flat anyway.
Been around a while that

Next game, a few hours before the match, I'm going to sup 10 pints of Guinness, have beans on toast and a big chicken madras.

I'll create a fucking atmosphere all right as I let rip!

It's the only way some of the ****s around me will sit up and take notice, because many aren't taking notice to what's happening on the pitch, as they are too busy looking at fucking their phones, oblivious to the fact they are like(and as much use) a fucking cardboard cutout in a fucking library!

We shoot towards the wrong goal in the first half that needs sorting.
When we have only beaten arsenal and Chelsea at home in the last season and a half, never going to help.
Don't play bluemoon before kick off.
We start games so poor. I don't have a problem with the football we are playing it's obvious to me there is alot more to come. We are playing well but the etihad hasn't been a fortress since we went on that 23 game run. (Not all our faults the officiating has been nothing short of disgusting in the last few years.)

The atmosphere at the barca game this season wasn't as good as it should have been.

The stewards kicking people out for standing fucking hell haha. They need to make the entire south stand lower standing. Safe standing doesn't even matter when you have control over how many people can enter.

Vs Burnley we swapped the end we normally play towards...... I prefer it. Kicking towards the south stand in the second half should be the norm but since we moved to the new stadium it's been the North stand second half 99%

Anyone know why?

Regarding the whole of Sth Stand lower tier standing? They already do

Me too! The south stand was very loud at times against Burnley. The noisier end revs up our forwards and gives them the extra yard. It's all good that the away team shoots towards the quiet end without their away fans around them to encourage them.

I think it's to do with the way the dressing rooms are set out. ours are on the left so the players migrate that way as they come out onto the pitch. For us to attack the south stand second half We would have to swap over sides in the tunnel or on the pitch after the line up.

The irony is that next season these seats will be empty as the corporates will still in the glass lounge.
The owners probably want the whole stadium corporate. They can then play piped terrace chants to create an atmosphere whilst one is tucking into ones 6 course meal whilst viewing the game. I'm joking of course, but there may come a day when this actually happens. I'll of long left the scene by then though.

I doubt some of those types would bother to put down their fish knifes to politely applaud a goal.

A friend of a friend pays 30k a season for 4 tickets in one of the executive suites to wine and dine during a game. Guaranteed 4 tickets for any away game too. So that's 4 less tickets not available for us steerage class then.

Pep was frustrated as he was trying to get a reaction from the Colin Bell Stand - a stand where even simple clapping or shouting 'come on city' produces glances and stares from its librarian regulars.

Always wondered why we do this. It has to be towards the South Stand second half, simple as that..

Whats the stats? Does anyone know how many we've scored at either end?
