Genuine question mate ,you have done your bit and got all the singers together ,you carnt do much more ,but why do you think when you have pretty much got safe standing and like minded fans together its all gone so quiet? These threads make me laugh. It's always someone else's fault.
'Oh the 1894 group should have done this', 'there's not enough Guardiola songs', 'we need to stop singing about united', 'I couldn't hear any atmosphere whilst playing on my IPad & eating a prawn sandwich'.
My view on it is this. Myself and like minded blues put in hours and hours of our own time to improve the atmosphere. We've organised a 'singing section', worked our way into the club, helped give our fans a voice in the media, represented City in National and European fan gatherings to get a better deal for you guys etc. We literally can't do any more than that. If we get 600 people to relocate to a singing block and only 200 of them sing there's nothing we can do! If all 600 of us are singing and no one else in the ground joins in, it's not going to be loud and the atmosphere won't be sustainable.
Everyone is quick to whinge about the atmosphere, yet I know for a fact there will only be a couple of you on here who do anything about it. There are hundreds of spare seats for the Bucharest game in the South Stand. Tickets are £15 there. There are no excuses - move there and sing if it bothers you. If not, stop pointing the finger and try and get it going around yourselves!
The only way the atmosphere will improve is if more people sing.
That's just not true. There are plenty of fans who frustratingly try and get people around them to join in with chants with them, they sing every time a songs starts off but people around them just give nothing.Fans who moan about the atmosphere probably sit there and dont make an effort themselves or just sat at home and are upset there is no crowd noise who gives a fuck.
Shouldn't you have been in your seat with your rosette and rattle by then?I walked through the corporate sector yesterday at half time, they are having a 3 course meal whilst the second half is kicking off, I really don't get it personally but it's their £6k!!
Predictable reply. The dynamics of crowd atmosphere is made up from lots of factors.Stadium size, acoustics etc. The sheer number of games has an impact as well as does the socio-economic and age profile of the fans. Bottom line though is the crowd has got to be entertained and if the game/skill levels/violence is not particularly exciting then they won't be too excited will they.

I don't think fans make enough of it. Football culture is about the game and the atmosphere in equal measure imo.Ok loads around me cant be arsed there is around 2 or 3 who join in when we get behind the team! Dont care really fans make to much out of it, seems the way most grounds are know a days.
About 25 years if not more.Yes you are right there are many factors but it really comes down to are enough of us prepared to sing. For several years the answer has been a resounding no.
