Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

twice as good as I was expecting

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Sorry about the double picture posts. Sorted.

Once again, my pleasure.

I'm sure those of you who haven't been to the stadium and the training academy will be blown away by it all on Monday night.

Just an idea. Give yourselves a bit of extra time and go and have a mooch around both. Well worth it.

God only knows how the club is going to accommodate 47,000 fans amongst all that building work.

Now that would have to be something incredible, the National Gallery, London 6.03m.... Natural history Museum gets 5.3m a year.... Tower of London 2.8m..... like I hope Mansour has some crazy big ideas for the land...

There be close to 2M visitors each season just for football once the complete stadium expansion is complete that includes First, Women, EDS and junior teams

So you're saying all City fans are tourists? I think I'll run off and quote you in some other threads!!!!!

If you want to appear stupid feel free

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Cheers jrb, always love seeing pics of the stadium, with the new level of steel work going up does that take the steel work to the same height as the South Stand as it is now?

Interested by the branding on that sign. The Cityzens logo appears part of a set. We now have City football. I wonder what might be next, City shopping, City accommodation, etc etc?

Thanks for all the pics JRB, can't wait to see it live on Monday

The new steel being erected today takes the stand to level/concourse 2.

You can make out the ground level, the 1st level, and the steel starting to go in on level 2. It's now above the lowest point of the South Stand roof.

Don't think anyone has picked up on this yet, but the training academy comes under the *Etihad Campus* name, along with the stadium and surrounding land.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

might be a stupid question, but do the cranes really need to be that big? They look as thought they're about 4 times the height of the south stand! Surely the third tier's not going to be that high up?!

The South Stand(and North Stand) will be the same height as the Colin Bell Stand and the East Stand, if not higher.

Watch the flythrough video, and pause it when you have to. Press full screen. Really hits home. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/news/club-news/2014/june/manchester-city-announce-second-phase-of-etihad-expansion" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/news/club-news/20 ... -expansion</a>

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

That City football logo on the sign is the same as the Cityzens one

I reckon that'll be used across the CFG

Also, We've been using Cityzens logo on the front of the training kit, I reckon when the new training ground opens that'll be replaced with a new sponsor

I'm SS L2 block 217, I usually go in entrance N, obviously not this season any ideas where I'll have to go?

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

jrb, by my reckoning that's 2 floors in place... then another 2 to go after that. And then.... THE BIG ONE..... that the terrace is built on! Gonna be huuuuge, the back of the stand is higher than the existing roof!

The trademark is not owned by the club anyway. It's owned by the CFG according to the trademark website. Same with Cityzens. Not ours, but the CFG.
