Very disappointed, I can see cranes 1 and 2 from Ramsbottom, but can't see the new screens........totally disgusted!

while the roof is in bits I WILL be able to see the North West big screen from a range of six and a half miles up Werneth Low

I must admit I was also a bit surprised to hear that they have no big screens at the swamp.
I assumed that they had improved, as well as expanded, the ground since I last visited (Euro '96 Germany v Italy).
Obviously I was wrong.

I think they must be upgrading it as everytime I have the misfortune to drive by there's scaffolding up all round the ground.

He stated the appointment of Stirling Prize winning architects Feilden Clegg Bradley to design the conversion of the important Murray's Mills site in Ancoats (by Royal Mills) was an indication of the design levels they were expecting.

“I think that will send very, very clear signs out," Leese explained. "What we are doing through Manchester Life is setting new standards of quality for the city.”
