'm not sure if I am missing something here but and extra 20 to 25 million a season, although not to be sniffed at is not going to get anyone choking on anything. Yaya earns 10 million a season.

We don't know or won't know the finer details of the sponsorship deals, but you can be assured the collective will up arms, in private and in public.

I have been told on numerous occasions that FFPR will finish City by United fans. Knowing what I know, and what you and most City fans know, this was never going to be the case.

It was more than obvious the new training academy and the continued success of the team, as well as the people/team running the club, would always negate the effects FFPR, and of those behind it.

Unfortunately not this season.

Unfortunately not.

But if we can ride out the sanctions and this current low point with new sponsorship deals to follow, as well as a 1st or 2nd place finish in the PL, the new BT CL deal, and the extra revenue from the expanded stadium, as well as showing a profit from this Summer's transfer dealings, then we will be in a very healthy financial position next Summer, and from then on.

I can't wait for the new training ground to open and for the announcement of the sponsorship deals. An evening spent with beer, popcorn and reading all the outrage on rawk/redcafe/gloryglory and goonserweb.

Without knowing the bottom line...

A large portion of money is supposedly to be front loaded, with an option to renegotiate deals when it suits:)

In essence, a potential financial nuke to Uefa.

If everything this season is a "pinch", I can't wait to see our counter-punch :-)

Have to admit, there was anger in Khaldoon's words. I personally would not like to cross this man !

it wasn't anger

it was a sense of injustice tinged with revenge

Same thing but nicely put.

A bit of time to kill.

Aniline chemical works to the new training academy.

What's that area of turf in the top picture? Is it a bowling green attached to the works social club perhaps?

Fuck me, there were some serious quantities of asbestos cement to remove when they demolished those buildings.

Those pictures look worlds apart. In a very real sense they are, of course.

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

It looks more like the size of a football pitch GDM

when I lived down there Clayton Aniline was very well known indeed and a large employer

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Has anyone heard any rumors what might be happening with the collar site? Not seen anything about for ages
