Been over two weeks since I did the last quick update.

Once again it's around the mini-Etihad and the surrounding area. Been a few changes, mainly planting and finishing off work. Still plenty of work to do, especially if they want the stadium open for the EDS match against Everton at the end of the month, according to the rumours.

Bridge first, then stadium, then entrance to the academy.

Note the mesh hanging on the side of the stadium.(last picture) Trial? That's where the sponsorship names will be.(see render below)

Level 3 of the new stand adjacent to the bottom of the current roof. Concourses/levels 4 and 5, the 3rd tier, and the new roof will be above level 3.

What do we think will happen to the back walls of the old South Stand? The ones which contain the turnstyles and displays/posters.

They would be removed. Unless we have a designed in an inner turnstile and barrier wall system

I thought that but someone told me the existing concourses wouldn't be extended which I took to mean that the current walls would still need to be in place.

It would be a nice design touch if they found the old turnstiles from the Kippax and installed them there for old times sake.

They could be manned by chain-smoking septuagenarians in flat caps with zero people skills, who put one fifth of the takings in a box marked "for Mr Swales".
