WIll the 3rd tier seating be extended forward so it overlaps tier 2 (after the temporary roof supports are removed)? Or maybe Tier 2 South Stand can go back a little way? At the moment there's no overlap at all, and one of the advantages of tiers is that you can get a lot more seating in that one huge terrace by overlapping the tiers.

Engineers do amazing things, but they are not Gods.

on the construction video it looks like it finishes flush with the back of tier two with either an advertising board or corp boxes underneath but it does not hang over

Well I think the 3rd tier will be extended over the 2nd tier. I just don't know how/when. If you look at the 1st/2nd tier, there is an overlap.

Yep, that's what I saw too.

I'd like to see the plams, but video has been the only option.

I'd always assumed Corp boxes all the way around

The video looks like it's an overhang of the corporate boxes on the west and east stand. One of the images on the "Etihad Stadium Expansion Plans" found on the Daily Mirror site http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ad-3539980 (5 of15) shows a glass wall at the back of South Level Two then an overhang supported by some ugly A frame supports. No seats in front of the glass like the boxes but current end sections of metal looks like something is going to be bolted on and if it isn't why do you need the A frames?

Also, I thought engineers thought they were gods.

Another title and our Engineer might be heading for sainthood!

You are right picture 5 clearly shows no exec boxes - more of a sports cafe with some ugly A Frames in front but picture 6 which is less conclusive seems to show an extension of the present exec boxes with blue lighting.

Aye! And I expect a statue outside the ground so that I can worship it!
