From the train home, one end of the rainbow was direct centre of the Etihad. Not quick enough with the camera but it looked great though.

Was talking to someone high up at City today involved in the commercial side. The club is more than aware of the financial pressure on city fans with cost of cup games etc. look out for lots more cska Moscow type offers and value tickets for teenagers. We will be filling 62 000 plus very soon. Lets scholes and his gang laugh then. The club are very astute. More corporate but more value. They know what they are doing. The extra seats will see our average match going fan age reduce significantly. There is studies done on these things and it is monitored. We are in safe hands.

Thanks for your positive posts worsleyweb,I'm 50 and I want the ground rocking too.

Waited a long time for this,a great pricing structure is so important for our fanbase, were just not chavs and rags and le arse.

Juniors should be able to sit anywhere in the stadium, and pay the same price as the family stand junior tickets.

If they want my seat for corporate seating,in level 2, first row, family stand they can have it for one above in the new level 3 north stand, cheers for info worsleyweb!

This thread has been a life saver for me literally. I've been to one city game which was a huge milestone for me as I live North of the border and it's hard to get down every week so to keep up with the expansion progress I have been relying on you fine people. I hope to get down this season as the prices are still at a fabulous rate and I can't wait to see the new south tier. Thanks guys

It's the continuing rising season ticket costs that concern me. We've had £50 hikes each year for the past 4 seasons. It is getting to a point where I'm having to think about not signing up for a cup scheme next year.

Thats great to hear, I've said a few times in various threads that the people in charge aren't stupid and would go down this route, knowing what it takes to fill a 60,000 plus Etihad. They know to attract more corporate they need a full stadium. Good to hear it from within the club though.
