I'm assuming the services have been rerouted and the piling has been finished, ready for work to start properly on the South Stand.

On the flip side, I did hear plenty of work going on inside the stadium.

As per, thanks for the kind comments. It's my pleasure. Off for some food and a glass of cold beer. :-)

There won't be any stadium work going on inside, there's a pop music event going on next week or this weekend.

I don't have inside knowledge, but my hunch would be Prince William. He's President of the FA, and I think that Mansour has the kind of clout that makes this kind of thing a realistic prospect.

They'd have no idea who that was, records for a number of years during the Swales era were in handwritten ledgers which were binned at some point.

I'd rather have Platini doing it than some royal flunky, at least we'd get the pleasure of watching him squirm.
