discussions currently ongoing re moving gas ometers between city and mcc!!

I last heard there were plans similar to this.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.kingscross.co.uk/heritage-gasholder-triplet" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.kingscross.co.uk/heritage-gasholder-triplet</a>

This was to be developed privately and nothing to do with City or MCC by the way

Who owns them?

I assume you mean removing and not moving them?

I was also under the impression they were listed hence the need to redevelop them and retain the actual structure.

A totally unrelated private development. Probably apartments.

Unless City have now purchased it off the developer?

It would be a rather unusual thing to move them and an expensive option too.

I heard through the grapevine that ASDA was moving to where the gas cylinders are and the ASDA is becoming a hotel!

After City Square and the yet to be seen City Circle, what about City Cylinder!

The seats in the North stand - I think were taken out for the concerts - thats usual practice - I really hope we don't get Nike Swoops on the seats. The new TV studio was there for the last couple of games and was in use for the Villa and West Ham games - the old was still there (I think) so this must be a new one although the old one has now been removed.

I used to do work for a company that erected stages at the Etihad and other venues for concerts, and I can confirm that those seats are regularly taken out to accommodate support structures for the stage.
