Often wondered how they'd replace the bulbs in one of them when it went.

They're lamps, not bulbs. You get bulbs from a garden centre..

Sorry, I work in the lighting industry, and its just one of my pet hates - bulbs, aka daffodils, grrr..

:)
*Scratches head*
what have I been putting in my light fittings for the past 30 years?

Lamps mate, just go with me on this ok..

Not down here mate , you would have been putting 'globes' in your light fittings.

They refer to an autumn opening. Thought it was supposed to be ready for the start of next season?
Manchester City's new, expanded South Stand is nearing completion and is pencilled in for an autumn opening.
The 6,000 seater extension now towering above one end of the ground is on schedule, but no date has been set for its opening.

Bloody hate the "lamps/bulbs/globes" industry. It used to be that you had to keep one 60w "bulb" as a spare and you were fine.

Now there are 9 different types of "lamps/bulbs/globes" required in my house. All requiring a spare.

I blame it all on Yaya in the first place and when Nasri came along NONE of them worked for longer than. 5 minutes.

Surely lamps are what you put bulbs in?

Expect our first 3 or 4 fixtures to be away next season. The close season was always the pinch point for the construction programme. Interface of the pitch access required to remove the roof and the pitch treatment required.

Whilst the lamp or bulb argument has its merits, surely these two posts are rather more fitting, and worthy of discussion in this thread ?
