still loads to do by the look off it? whats with the yellow walk ways as well?? if they were gonna paint them they should be white!!

Think that's my only gripe really. Don't like yellow. Should have left them as there were. Was it something that had to be done? Probably not, but somebody, somewhere, made that decision. Shame really. Sorry for having a minor gripe. :-)

Has anyone got a clue how the 2 giant screen are going to be fitted, if at all? They can't be lowered over and under the roof, and a mobile crane won't be allowed on the pitch now as it's being prepared for the new season. Wonder if City have shelved the big screens until the end of this season? Perhaps there wasn't enough time to install them, etc?
They don't come as one unit, they are made up like a huge jigsaw

That looks great. It always was a nice looking stadium with a bit of character unlike most of the new bowls that have bee built.

Most extensions to grounds, make them look architecturally odd: Maine Road! This makes it look even better than the original. It is the best looking stadium I can think of, and it's going to get even better when the next phase kicks in.

I imagine they are made up of lots of smaller screens with no bezel rather than an 80 foot plasma from costco

Was up there this morning, sorry no pictures.
  1. Looks nowhere near finished with hundreds of workman crawling all over it like ants.
  2. Giant down spout in place in South East corner.
  3. City Circle filthy already with footprints (some empty holes) had to clean our circle (Son and I) before I could read it.
  4. Overheard a group of managerial types in high-vis jackets discussing that they had a list of things to do and everybody was arguing about what took priority.
I believe if we don't get a good turn out for the training session next Wednesday that we will not be allowed to open the whole of the new third tier for the Chelsea match.

It was a huge project but high winds over the winter have put it behind schedule.

That's really disappointing to read about city circle for all those that have bought discs and waited.
I did wonder when I saw it if the discs were. Brass would they get stolen for scap metal unfortunately
