I noticed for the firs time yesterday that the supports to extend the present 3rd tiers have gone up, forgot about them extending those tiers.

I've been following the expansion quite closely and not seen any mention of that?

Both East and CB stands at block 309 and 322 will have around an extra 10 seats added in each row to move the effect of those existing 3rd tiers toward the new South Stand 3rd tier. They won't connect of course because if the proposed new big TV screens.

Anyone who sits up against the concrete edge on the 3rd tier will tell you its was replaced in the summer with some temporary cladding in preparation for the through path to the new areas that may be renumbered, not confirmed, 310 & 321.

The supporting pillars have always been there so this was always, although perhaps individually too expensive, an option for an extra 200 or so seats in each stand.

If you look at the renders you will see that the current curve of the rear seats in the East and CB clearly stops and straightens out where these extra seats are shown.

Cheers for that. Just had a closer look at the renders and it's not actually apparent until you look closely. A really good decision to do that, I was thinking how open those spaces would look otherwise, screens or no screens.

I'm still confused where the original cable roof support is going? Does it join up to the new roof? Are the cable just under the new roof?

Would you go and sit in on level 4 Oakie? For myself row N on level 3 is as far that I would spend money on for a SC.

Can anyone update me on the seats around the perimeter of the pitch?. How are they progressing?. Are they below "pitch level?.
How many will they add to capacity?. and finally will they be in front of all the advertising hordings that are currently round the pitch/.
This last question might seem daft - because -I understand that the "seats" will have to have a view of the pitch and not be obstructed by hordings.
And finally is there any other Stadiums where "pitch seats" are....... currently.?

I`m only on row k mate and that knackers me up.L4 would be brilliant as long as they offered binoculars as part of the deal and lessons from Chris Bonnington. ;)
