A few from today. The new walkway from the top of the spiral is now half complete.

Great pictures lads, was speaking to somebody in the construction game this morning and he believes they are going to remove about half of the old roof before the end of the season, has anybody else heard anything ?

So am I right in thinking that you get to Level 3 of South Stand by using the existing spirals, and then there is a walkway from East Stand Level 3 into South Stand Level 3?

Does this mean then that it will be possible for Level 3 South Standers to meet up for HT beer with Level 3 East Standers?

Taken today during the West Ham match. Camera phone. Quality isn't great.

The Colin Bell stand roof and the South stand roof have been connected. Taken some pictures but the quality isn't great.
Will nip down on Tuesday with my camera. Supposedly it's going to be a sunny day.

When I saw the 3rd pic. taken from the North Stand - my first thought was - "People in the top row of the New 3rd tier of the South Stand
would not be able to see the Goals at the North Stand end"
Then after reading on in this thread I realise that the Old Roof has to be removed. - Doh!.

Nice idea however arnt the away fans going in all 3 tiers? So you would have to walk through them ,,, not likely to happen

Slightly off topic and possibly old hat, but I saw the new Etihad advert on TV last night (Nicole Kidman).
Maybe in a couple of years the campus and 'Panda World' leisure site will feature on such an advert...

Remember looking through the building schedule on one of the early posts of this siteand I remember reading that stair wells are to be constructed around the area where the large roofing support column enter the stand .

Just a point of reference from West Hams Karen Brady who,was live on Talksport this morning: she stated when West Ham relocate to the Olympic Stadium in 2016/2017 the capacity will be 54500 the third biggest in the country. Wrong Karen when the south stand is completed our stadium will have a larger capacity 55200. So please get your facts right !!

Yes, but if they moved in now it would be the 3rd biggest. It's all a matter of perspective & PR.
