Hope so mate!
That would look excellent. Its a shame the two tiers are not at the south stand end as that would improve the atmosphere overnight.
I spoke to my source last night who said it was happening and was a dumbed down version of the South stand. He was slightly dumb himself so i have had to interpret some of what he said myself. I get the distinct impression it is going to be two tiers build top down with a steeper rake of the family stand second tier joining the new tier being built above with no corporate boxes at that end at all.
So we can expect a new or modified planning application soon as the original one was for the two stands to be the same, also what will happen to the box holders currently in the North standI spoke to my source last night who said it was happening and was a dumbed down version of the South stand. Aka cheap and cheerful [emoji6][/QUO
I agree make it a stand for proper football people, we have enough corporate sites inside the stadium, and the glass tunnel to come ! Make it a one price tier of £300 and it will be rammed. Look at the bin dippers new stand because it's their main stand it's totally corporate orientated and has priced out the ordinary fan, protest planned as those on the waiting list for years waiting for the extra capacity can't afford the prices.

I wonder if the club is considering just swapping the fans around, South to North and vice versa? Then the corporate in the South stand will have the families either below or above them?well you never know, if its cheaply priced like south stand level 3 is, then that could be the new atmosphere area. you could even put safe standing in there. i agree though surely the south stand should be the less corporate area.
It doesn't help when the box prices have nearly doubledWe never even get close to filling the boxes. Always found it strange.
The interesting part of that would be what to do with the away fans. I believe the Police want them to remain in the south stand. Would that then mean we would want to keep our singing section next to them or would we be happy to have it at the other end of the ground? If we have the 'blue wall' type of stand where will the families go? So many questions... [emoji1]I wonder if the club is considering just swapping the fans around, South to North and vice versa? I presume there's a logical reason for keeping the away fans in the South stand? Proximity to the coaches perhaps? The interesting part of that would be what to do with the away fans. As good an idea as that is, its never going to be sanctioned, because they won't be able to regulate us.It would be good if you could buy a season ticket for that stand and not the seat. Everyone sits wherever they want. Can then get occasional match goers meeting with friends with season cards being able to sit together.
Almost like the standing used to be. Get in early to get a good spot
At the risk of being berated why would we extend the North Stand at the moment ? we need a full ground with atmosphere not loads of empty seats. We have Pep now so that would give us a bigger draw but shouldn't we do it organically when we have the need for it.
We have played 3 games one in CL a dead rubber and the two league games were 54000 plus gates so not sure where 'the loads of empty seats' were?
Thats fair enough and I'm not a rag BTW what I'm saying is do we have enough extra people to fill a few more thousand seats at normal league games. We get enough shit now about the "Emptyhad" just don't think we need to give the cunts more ammo to fire at us.
you can't sell a product if its not there,,build it ''they will come''
I get that mate but it seems a stick the media like to beat us with all the time, The snide rag loving bell ends love to comment on empty seats not forgetting the MUEN and there red circles etc. Personally i think we should wait till the demand far outstrips the supply and get the atmosphere rocking !!
