The idea is clearly to upgrade these areas in the future and getting parking restrictions in now before selling off the land to developers. Plus try to reduce the traffic coming into the wider area. It’s bad enough as it is now on matchdays but throw an event in at the arena and it really will need better control. I’m still hopeful that it will lead to better public transport myself but probably too optimistic. They have Corelli St and Falmouth St on, as well as the whole of Clifton Steet.
The west part of Clifton St isn't accessible, just a dirt track full off rubbish behind a barrier. The other 2 streets don't exist, they are within the confines of a yard now.
